First flowers Hemp Skirt
I used a red hemp fabric to make this skirt. The skirt has a lined pocket, that closes with a
spruce button. The skirt has a drawstring waist, that ties in the back. I appliqued 3 flowers onto
the skirt using a white organic cotton knit,yellow soy knit, and a tan organic cotton knit. The middle
of the flowers have handmade spruce buttons.

April Showers Hemp Skirt
I used a handyed blue/green hemp cotton knit to make this skirt.
The fabric has a little spandex in it, so it will hold it's shape well :)
I appliqued a butterfly onto the skirt using a black organic cotton,
yellow soy knit, green hemp/cotton knit. I did reverse stitching all through out
the skirt using blue/green threads

Snow Tracks
I used a black knit to make this skirt. The knit has a bit of spandex in it,
so it has great stretch, and holds it's shape well :) I appliqued on a abstract tree using
a white organic cotton knit, soy french terry, and a tan sweatshirt weight fleece. The skirt
has many white reverse stitch lines running through it.

Spider in the wood pile
~While stacking firewood, I came across a giant brown spider weaving its web between the logs~
I used a black knit as the base for this skirt. The knit has a bit of
spandex in it, so it has a great stretch, and will hold its shape well :)
The skirt buttons up on one side with 5 handmade ash buttons. On the opposite hip
I added a pachwork panel along the hem using knits in shades of gray, cream, white, black.
There is also a big brown spider applique, and yellow reverse stitching for the spider web.

I used a light weight purple wool to make this skirt.
The tree applique is done in a tan sweatshirt fleece fabric. There are many tiny bark
stitch lines throughout the tree applique. The skirt buttons up one side with 6 handmade
ash buttons. I cut the ash branch, sanded and sealed all the button.

Purple Hemp Button Skirt
I used a purple hemp fabric to make this skirt.
The skirt is kind of like a wrap, the one side is left open, and closes up with the buttons,
but instead of having buttonholes, and loop[s at the waistband, it has an inclosed drawstring.
I made the buttons out of a ash branch. The buttons have been sanded, and sealed.
I appliqued brown, orange and green leaves onto the drawstring.

Emily Petal Skirt
I used a blue/green and a white gauze to make this skirt. The underskirting
is made out of white gauze. On top of the underskirting I attached two sided petal
forms that open and move when you walk. The petals are attached at the top, bottom,
and down one side, so they don't float freely away from the skirt, they just open up slightly :)

Orange Flower Skirt
I used a purple linen to make this skirt. On the front side I appliqued a orange flower
using various shades of orange cotton. The center of the flower has black stitching and red piping.
The applique was cut out and attached to the front of the skirt, so it's 3dimensional :) The skirt
has a drawstring that ties on the side, it's done in green, and hangs below the flower, like a stem.
